2. Information We Collect

To operate our enterprise field sales application effectively, we collect the following types of information:

• Location Data (Background & Foreground): We collect precise GPS location data from your mobile device while the app is active and running in the background. This location data is required to log field check-ins, record vehicle sales travel distance, optimize sales routes, and verify customer site visits. Background location collection only occurs while user shift tracking is active.
• User Account Information: Employee Name, Mobile Number, DSE Staff ID, Role, and Authentication Tokens.
• Lead & Customer Data: Customer Name, Phone Number, Alternate Contact, Vehicle Requirement Details, Quotation Records, and Address entered during enquiry or lead capture.
• Device & Identifiers: Mobile Device Model, OS Version, Unique Hardware Device ID, and App Version for security authentication and crash reporting.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected data strictly for internal operational and dealership sales management purposes:

• To authenticate authorized sales executives and managers into the dealership portal.
• To track field executive route travel, attendance check-ins, and mileage calculation via GPS.
• To generate and deliver Proforma Invoice (Quotation) PDFs and WhatsApp notifications to prospective vehicle buyers.
• To manage lead follow-up schedules, customer pipeline stages, and sales target tracking.
• To protect dealership data against unauthorized access or fraudulent logins.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal or location data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with trusted operational service infrastructure required for app functionality:

• Cloud Server Hosting & Database: Secure encrypted database storage for dealership records.
• Messaging Gateway Services: Automated SMS and WhatsApp template dispatchers for sending quotations directly requested by sales executives.

5. Background Location Tracking Disclosure

Hi-Tech Pragati uses background location tracking to track sales executive field movements during work shifts. Background location is strictly restricted to sales route monitoring and distance measurement. A prominent in-app disclosure and runtime permission request is displayed before location collection starts. Users can stop location tracking at any time by ending their active shift or logging out of the app.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion Rights

All data is retained securely in compliance with commercial dealership audit requirements. Authorized users may request account deactivation or data correction by contacting their dealership system administrator or emailing support@hitechpragati.in.
